Welcome to Year 5. We are a quirky and lively class who enjoy working together and finding out new things!

Our Teaching Team

Our class teacher is Mrs Peverall and we are also taught by Mrs Harvey and Miss Hall.

A Typical Day in Year 5

We begin each morning with a Maths starter to get our brains firing, before some independent reading time. Every morning we complete our Maths and English lessons where we focus on a variety of important skills inlcuding times tables and spellings.  Afternoon lessons include Science, Humanities, RE, French, PE and a whole lot more!

PE is currently every Monday and Thursday so pupils are required to have their kits in for this day.

Homework 

For homework we ask that children read 3 times per week at home and their reading records are signed.
