Welcome to Year 1
We are an energetic class of XX children ready for our Year 1 challenge! We have moved from the EYFS and into Key Stage 1. All of our learning this year will help to prepare us for Year 2.

Our Curriculum & Learning
Our curriculum this year will be topic based which means each half term we will focus on a new topic. This will allow us to spend more time deepening our understanding of that particular topic through most subjects within the National Curriculum. In order to help us transition to Year 2, we will focus on developing our skills of reading, writing and mathematics across the subjects.
