COVID-19 Updates

In line with Government advice we have been considering the best course of action to take in school.

Please visit the Durham County Council Update page for the most recent advice and information here.

I must stress that we have no confirmed cases of the virus in school.

If your child is self isolating please access our home learning provision by logging into your child’s secure class page here:

Class Pages

These are the measures we have in school are as follows:

  • Handwashing/hand sanitiser on entry to school, before and after entering the classroom and before and after breakfast and lunch.
  • Teachers are reminding children of the need for handwashing and are demonstrating how to wash hands properly
  • Only essential visitors are able to enter the school building.  They must wear face coverings, use hand sanitiser when entering and exiting the building and sign our track and trace record.
  • As parts of school will be rigrously cleaned and disinfected by cleaning staff daily.

Unfortunately we are unable to let parents into school at this time but will be working hard to share some of our exciting activities through your child’s class Facebook page, please make sure you like and follow the main school page and your child’s class page.

Further information, useful guidance and links to trustworthy sources can be found below.

Finally, please could we ask you to talk to your children about the importance of washing their hands thoroughly after using the toilet.

Many thanks for your support as we work together during this challenging time.
