Welcome to Year 2
Welcome to Year 2! We are a class of 22 enthusiastic children with an eagerness to learn. Our class teacher is Mrs Cooper and Mrs Harvey works with us every morning and teaches us Computing and P.E. every Friday afternoon.
Our Curriculum
Our new curriculum is topic based and ensures a broad and balanced approach to teaching The National Curriculum. Children are able to make links and build on previous learning. Each half term the topic will change and link together a range of subjects with a common theme. Topic work allows the children to gain a deeper understanding of the focus theme and allows them to transfer skills learnt in both Literacy and Numeracy.
