Welcome to Reception
Hello and welcome to Reception! Our class teacher is Miss Bell (covering Miss Ray’s maternity leave) and we are supported by Mrs Burnside, Miss Kelly and Miss Moody.
We are 4 and 5 years old. We are the young explorers who enjoy creating, investigating, evaluating and acquiring new skills! Come and join the fun.

Our Curriculum & Learning
Our curriculum focuses on the four key skills for life long learning, these are :

Our curriculum follows the objectives set out in EYFS: Development Matters. Our prime areas of learning are:

Homework:
In Reception, children receive one piece of letter formation homework each week and one piece of either Maths or Literacy work which links to the class learning that week. In addition, they receive a reading book each week.
