Valentine´s Disco
Tuesday 9th February 5-30-7pm. Please note this is for our children/parents and younger siblings only. No older brothers or sisters will be admitted. If other discos are anything to go by the children will have a great night. Usual games, face painting etc with some new items. Dressing red is optional!
Haiti Appeal
Thank you for your fantastic efforts £205 was raised for this cause. Y5 received a letter from the Prime minister in response to their letters regarding the matter!!
Craig´s Coaching
Those who have signed up for football coaching on Wednesday 17th February, registration begins at 9-45am. Enter school through the main entrance.
Reception
Any old newspapers would be gratefully received. See Miss Noble or Mrs Cummins.
Reminder of dates for the remainder of this half term
Week beginning 8th February
Tuesday 9th February: Seven Y4 pupils will attend the Stadium of Light for Maths work;
Tuesday 9th February: Y3 Class assembly- 10am;
Thursday 11th February: Non-uniform day-dress in red for Valentine’s Day;
Friday 12th February: Zambia run: all our classes from Y1-Y6 will take part in a run/walk at Maiden Castle . They will need trainers/running equipment - remember it is likely to be cold so hat, gloves and warm running clothing would be best. A small donation towards the appeal would be great.
Break up for half term Friday 12th February return on Monday 22nd February.
Stamps for Charity
We are collecting used postage stamps for charities in this country and abroad via Stamps for Charities, so if you could collect these and send them into school, that would be brilliant. Thanks for your support. The response so far has been absolutely brilliant.
Spectacle Recycling
Mrs Gates one of our school Governors is also collecting old spectacles which can be reused in various parts of the world.
