School Events

5th October –site of old Ushaw Moor School closed for the last time.

29th October- Silver Tree Primary School welcomed children to the new building. Mrs Grimes baked a wonderful cake for the occasion, and Mrs Nora Metcalfe, a resident of the village and an ex pupil of the school, cut the cake at our first assembly, to celebrate the opening of the school.

9th November- official opening of Silver Tree Primary School at Durham Road site.
